What Makes Good Evidence in a Work Based Portfolio?

The search for evidence is a quest for quality. Evidence selection requires that value is placed upon an experience or event. Developing a portfolio involves gathering evidence that demonstrate competencies. A good piece of evidence is:

  1. Carefully selected
  2. Represents the standard
  3. Demonstrates your competencies of the standard
  4. Presented professionally
  5. Personally meaningful
  6. Paired with a relevant and insightful reflection (reflections can be written, audio or videotaped.
