This section of the project website contains a range of resources that are freely available to use by anyone involved in practice education. These resources were either commissioned by the project or externally sourced web materials and have been peer reviewed. The resources are intended to be used by the practitioner and by staff involved in the preparation, updating and supporting of practice educators. The resources are intended to:

The project team scoped current practice in five health care disciplines, which has resulted in identification of six key themes. These themes should be central to development of any person involved in supporting learning in practice settings and map across competencies required by:

Nursing and Midwifery Council
The Department of Health: Knowledge and Skills Framework
In addition, a set of associated learning materials have been developed, which can be found under specific themes. The project team have also identified generic skills that apply across all six themes.

These resources have been identified by a range of stakeholders and quality assured by a panel of evaluators http://www.practicebasedlearning.org/evaluation/evaluation.htm including practitioners, academics and experts in the themed areas. They are drawn from a wide range of sources across all subject areas.
This section of the website remains under constant development. The project team wants to ensure that all links are functioning and that relevant materials are included.
